Job Description:

Our client, an industry leader is in need of Derivative Accountants. In this role, you will be responsible for performing highly specialized accounting work for wholesale electricity markets; identify, analyze and interpret financial information including profitability, budget/actual variance analysis and balance sheet reviews; identify efficiencies to improve accounting processes and controls; and prepare various reports.

Requirements for this position are: Minimum of 4 years accounting experience, derivative experience, ability to apply GAAP principles to energy transactions, strong computer skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. A CPA, CMA or MBA desired.
